Hudson Congratulates Defense Secretary Austin

U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement on the confirmation of Lloyd Austin as Defense Secretary:

"Congratulations to Lloyd Austin on his historic confirmation as our nation's newest Secretary of the Department of Defense. As a former commander in the 82nd Airborne Division and XVIII Corps, he is no stranger to our community," said Rep. Hudson. "As Fort Bragg's Congressman, I will look forward to welcoming Secretary Austin back to Fort Bragg and working with him to support our troops, their families and our national defense."
