Harris Furious Guantanamo Prisoners Considered for Vaccine

ongressman Andy Harris, M.D., issued the following statement after the Biden Administration revealed and then delayed plans to vaccinate prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba before the general American population:

"Americans should be outraged that the Administration decided that the 9/11 masterminds would be eligible for the vaccine before our seniors or brave servicemembers even have the chance to secure their dose. As a physician, I have to ask: exactly how are prisoners in isolation supposed to be at a higher risk of getting COVID than American citizens who are not imprisoned? Once again, the President has shown that his priorities are not about America and Americans first."
