Proclamation - Sancitity of Human Life Week

Letter

WHEREAS, in keeping with the cherished fundamental principle of the American people,
life from the unborn child to the senior citizen is a most valued part of our society; and

WHEREAS, the protection and preservation of human life is the principal duty of every
citizen and their duly constituted governments, including national, state and local; and

WHEREAS, all North Dakotans are encouraged to take appropriate steps to recognize the dignity of human life and its paramount place in our society.

NOW, THEREFORE, as Governor of the State of North Dakota, I do hereby proclaim
January 22-28, 2006, SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE WEEK in the state of North
Dakota.
