Hagerty Welcomes Acting Defense Secretary to Tennessee

United States Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) today released the following statement welcoming the Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller to Tennessee, where he visited Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Fort Campbell:

"When Secretary Miller visited the great state of Tennessee today, and sites at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Y-12 National Security Complex, and Fort Campbell, he saw first-hand how critical our state is to our national defense and security, research and development, and our country's energy independence. Secretary Miller also witnessed some of the most highly-skilled and committed guardsmen and women in America, who are always ready to serve. I thank the Secretary for visiting, and look forward to the continued partnership between the Department of Defense and Tennessee."
