Congressman Steven Palazzo (MS-4) released the following statement after the United States Senate voted to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett as the newest Supreme Court Justice. Barrett's confirmation was approved on a vote of 52-48.

"Judge Barrett's confirmation today is historic as she is only the fifth woman to serve on the United States Supreme Court. She is extremely qualified to fill this seat and will directly interpret the Constitution, upholding faith, family, and freedom. Congratulations to Judge Barrett on her confirmation."
