U.S. Senator Tim Scott released the following statement after the Senate Democrats voted against expanding the Paycheck Protection Program for American workers and businesses:
"Countless Americans have spent several months without a paycheck and today's vote is just proof of how the Democrats are unwilling to put aside partisan politics to help the American people," said Senator Tim Scott. "Our workers -- and small businesses -- deserve better, and I will continue to advocate on behalf of these struggling Americans. I proudly support the expansion of the Paycheck Protection Program and hope that my colleagues will come to the table to pass a relief bill."
