Issue Position

The lifeblood of our communities -- the small business that provides nursery stock for your home garden, hardware and do it yourself supplies for your home. Your local pharmacy, grocery, hair salon or barber, your local garage or auto dealer; all businesses and others that are here to provide the goods and services that we use every day. New York government has not been business and family friendly for decades - - we can do better! All you have to do is talk with a business owner in another state to see how needlessly hard it is here - - and more expensive here - - to provide what we need to live prosperous lives. We must unshackle small business - - get New York government out of the way - - so each family can afford to stay here, instead of moving to where the pastures are greener - - and less costly.
