Safe and effective transportation is important to facilitate travel, commerce, and social interaction.
Rebecca has held multiple press conferences advocating for cameras on busses to ticket vehicles traveling in bus lanes to ensure faster and more reliable MTA service.
Rebecca has always been a strong advocate fighting for additional funding for the second avenue Subway, improvements to the M31 bus line as well as the F train serving Roosevelt Island.
Rebecca supported installing the NYC Ferry that now connects the Upper East side to all stops along the East River and the Bronx.
Rebecca cosponsored legislation in Albany to increase the safety of limousines.
