Georgia must continue its work to ensure healthcare is more accessible, affordable, and predictable. This past year, the Georgia legislature passed bills that addressed surprise billing for out-of-network hospital costs, expanded Medicaid for new mothers up to 6 months after birth, and brought greater transparency to the healthcare process.
