Standing alongside survivors of child sexual abuse, Tim delivered an opportunity for justice through the Child Victims Act. The reform was stalled in the Senate for years under a Republican Majority. Over the years, Tim joined survivors to deliver petitions with thousands of signatures from New Yorkers demanding a vote on the measure, and when Democrats took the Majority in 2019, the CVA was quickly brought to the floor for a vote. With the CVA passed, survivors can now pursue the legal recourse they deserve.
