Kodak Was Replaced By Our Small Businesses.
Small businesses are the backbone of the Rochester economy, but often get overlooked for Fortune 500 companies. We need to invest in small businesses and make it easier to do business in New York, hire local talent, and expand. We must reduce the State's regulatory burdens on employers while at the same time protect workers' rights. I've spoken to countless business owners and they are tired of the confusing rules in reopening after COVID-19 and the over-taxing of companies who are providing good paying jobs for our neighbors. We also need to create more opportunities for minority and women-owned businesses to get certified and thrive in upstate. Small business has Jeremy's ear, and he's ready to act.
