Issues: Unemployed and Low-Income Health and Health Care

My approach is to listen to scientists and doctors and economists and not be misled by people with a political agenda. We need to keep our caseload low to protect both our residents' health and our economy. Our state has done better than some parts of the country in managing this health crisis, but it's far from over. We need to keep being smart and not follow the disastrous path set by Washington leaders. We have, thus far:

Eliminated the waiting period for unemployment benefits

Prohibited utility shutoffs

Created a special temporary health care enrollment period
