Higgins Cosponsors Resolution Against Packing Supreme Court

Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) is cosponsoring H. Res. 1138, which condemns Democrats' threats to expand the number of Supreme Court justices for partisan gain. This is commonly referred to as "court-packing."

Congressman Higgins issued the following statement:
"Democrats are threatening to impose a court-packing scheme that erases 151 years of precedent. Their motives are solely political and void of any legitimate reasoning. I strongly support Congressman Jim Jordan's resolution and efforts to preserve the credibility of our nation's highest court."
