Sen. Moran Announces Grant to Improve K-State Vehicle Safety Practices

U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) today announced Kansas State University will receive $383,519 from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to be used for safety programs to reduce the number and severity of commercial vehicle crashes.
"I am pleased to announce these federal resources to help K-State further enhance safety programs for their commercial vehicles," said Sen. Moran. "Vehicle safety is essential, especially in busy college communities, and this grant will bolster their education and training on best practices."
