Statement

Date: Sept. 16, 2020
Location: Washington, DC

Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement urging Nevadans to participate in the 2020 Census:

"As the September 30th deadline is fast approaching, I urge all Nevadans to participate and get counted in the 2020 Census," said Senator Rosen. "An accurate census will help ensure that Nevada gets its fair share of federal funding for our schools, roads, hospitals, and other vital community services. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact in-person counting efforts, I want to ensure Nevadans know that they can be counted online, over the phone, or by mail--all without having to complete the census in-person."

BACKGROUND: Nevadans can complete the census online by visiting: www.2020census.gov.
