MORAN STATEMENT ON LEADERSHIP CHANGES IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Jerry Moran today released this statement on leadership changes in Washington, D.C.
"I believe it is time for a change in leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives. Both Democrats and Republicans need to focus on what is good for Americans. Not only do we need a change in leaders, we need a change in the way business is conducted in the nation's capital."
This weekend Moran signed a petition calling for a special election to replace Tom DeLay's position as House Majority Leader. The election will take place when the House of Representatives reconvenes later this month.
