Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following statement after Bahrain and Israel announced their normalization of relations.

"It's good news that Bahrain and Israel have normalized their relations. I will always support efforts to find peaceful cooperation in the region. Establishing peace should always be a central goal in U.S. foreign policy, and I commend both Israel and Bahrain on this important step forward."
