Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) today visited Yamaha Motor Corporation's U.S. Marine Business Unit in Kennesaw, Georgia to tour the facility and learn more about their many operations throughout the state. During the visit, Collins met with executives to hear about the company's workforce development efforts and to discuss congressional action supporting recreational boating and tourism.

"For decades, Yamaha has provided Georgians with thousands of well-paying jobs by choosing to manufacture their motorcycles, ATVs, watercraft, and other products all across the state," Collins said. "Their continued investment in Georgia is a strong testament to our highly skilled workforce and our pro-business climate, and I was thrilled to learn more about their commitment to workforce development during my visit today. I look forward to seeing their industry continue to grow as they work to meet high product demands across the country."

"We are grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Congressman Collins," said Martin Peters, Division Manager, Government Relations. "We appreciate his insights and his attention to issues that are vital to our industry, particularly those regarding the natural resources our customers depend on."
