Issue Position

Aggressively employ a Pro-Jobs growth agenda that incentivizes businesses to relocate to Indiana and invest in our community. I will work tirelessly to build a climate in our state that is more favorable to businesses to ensure that Indiana is a leader in getting people back to WORK!

Another important part of economic growth and development is making the work place a safe place to work. That is why I authored the bill that increased the fines a business would pay if an employee were to die on the job as a result of the employer ignoring safety measures. Being business friendly is important but we also need to be worker friendly as well and that starts with safety!

Encourage job creation by eliminating government regulations and excessive taxes that hinder smaller businesses from expanding.

Do everything in our power to expand Indiana's ability to attract new businesses and help Hoosier companies be able to compete more effectively in the global economy.

Nurture new businesses and technologies.

Renew emphasis on skilled trades and preparing workers to fill demands of growing job sectors.
