Issue Position: Health Care and Insurance Costs

Issue Position

We need to have affordable health care in both the rural and urban areas of Montana. One solution in the rural areas would be expanding tele-medicine programs in areas that cannot afford to staff doctors 24 hrs. a day. Other possible solutions include working with federal lawmakers to find ways to bring down costs of prescription drugs and find creative strategies to decrease overall healthcare costs with such things as direct primary care clinics, among others.
