Issue Position

In light of recent negativity directed toward law enforcement, we need now more than ever to show them that we recognize the difficult and selfless career they have chosen in service to us all. I fought to ensure our First Responders have the necessary tools, training, resources, and support they need. I also joined the battle this past legislative session to make it easier for Texas firefighters to file for worker's compensation if diagnosed with cancer. The good people of Texas will always be grateful for our First Responders, and I will continue to fight for them and their families.
