Water is quite literally the key to our survival and quality of life, particularly along the arid Front Range.
I have been a long time supporter of NISP and other projects that increase our capacity to store and treat water.
While I support projects like NISP and the Windy Gap Firming Project, I will continue to oppose the practice of buy-and-dry (water moving from farms to cities/cities buying farmland for water).
Agriculture is the cultural and economic backbone of Weld County and deserves to be protected and preserved. Weld County must continue to lead the way for the State of Colorado!
