"I am also deeply concerned that the bill includes an unrelated WH demand for construction of a new FBI headquarters in Washington, DC, rather than a new, fully consolidated HQ. Once again, it appears that POTUS is serving his interests, not the interests of the American people."

"Now that Senate GOP have announced a proposal, I urge them to move forward in negotiations immediately with the House to craft a final version. Democrats remain at the ready to do our jobs and get this done for the people. Further delay is not an option."
