As the youngest parent in the Legislature, I lead bipartisan efforts to modernize laws for working families. I championed new pregnancy protections in 2019, and expanded breastfeeding laws so all new parents have the right to feed their babies. I voted YES to pass the nation's most inclusive statewide Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance program, so no Oregonian will have to decide between paying their bills and taking care of a sick loved one or new baby.
