Issue Position: Education and School Choice

Issues: Education

Our education system has become increasingly subjected to ever-growing bureaucracy, with administrative staff that don't work in classrooms growing at a much larger rate than educators. Our students and their parents deserve more accountability and efficiency in how they receive their education. It's time for a thorough audit of our state's education system to identify waste and inefficiency.

We must allow students and parents more flexibility in pursuing education. No two students are the same, and the options afforded to them shouldn't be one-size-fits-all. Increased choice and flexibility for students and parents to make decisions that fit their needs should come first so all of our students have the opportunity to grow.
