Congressman Jim Costa (CA-16) released the following statement in response to the recent escalation of tensions along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border:

"Azerbaijan's violation of the ceasefire once again delays the progress towards peace for Nagorno-Karabakh. In midst of a global pandemic, where supplies and resources are low, it is critical now more than ever Azerbaijan be held accountable for its disgraceful actions. I support re-examining our security assistance to Azerbaijan immediately."
