Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement announcing Las Vegas has been awarded multiple grants totaling $4,900,673 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to be used to support housing projects in the Las Vegas community.
"During this public health crisis and period of economic uncertainty, access to safe and affordable housing is more important than ever," said Senator Rosen. "Unfortunately, far too many Nevadans are facing difficulty in finding and maintaining housing during this coronavirus pandemic. This grant funding will work to provide Las Vegas residents with much-needed housing support. I will continue working in Congress to ensure that all Nevadans can find safe and affordable housing."
