Location: Las Vegas, NV

Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) joined a video call with leaders from Nevada's public school districts to provide an update on her work in Congress to support education and to discuss student and educator safety in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Nevada's educators and school administrators have worked tirelessly throughout this pandemic to prepare for the next school year while adapting to this new reality of teaching our children on new platforms and with new technologies," said Senator Rosen. "The coronavirus has highlighted the many obstacles that educators face on a daily basis -- including the digital divide in our state. These men and women are working on the frontlines of our state's education system, and I value the opportunity to heard directly from them on how we can best support our students, teachers, and schools during this time. I'll continue working to ensure our students and educators have the resources they need for a safe and successful upcoming school year."
