Statement Of U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell On Passage Of Deficit Reduction Bill

U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell released the following statement today on passage of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005:

"Today the U.S. Senate took an important step in fiscal responsibility by passing a measure which cuts the federal deficit by $40 billion and I was proud to support that effort."
