Issue Position

Our response to China in the wake of this pandemic will be the single biggest issue to tackle in the coming years. We are already seeing this unfold with reports of deception from the Chinese government and misinformation from the World Health Organization. Once we gather enough information, talk to our foreign allies, and make an assessment, it will be all-hands-on-deck to respond appropriately. Having served as a foreign service officer in the intelligence and diplomatic communities, I've seen how foreign actors take advantage of America's support. On day one, I will work to bring China to task and help ensure America leads a global response to rebuild what we've lost these past few months.
