Today, Congressman Lou Correa released the following statement after supporting the passage of critical legislation to strengthen and expand the Affordable Care Act. HR 1425 - Patient Protection and Affordable Care Enhancement Act will enhance the ACA, shore up the Medicaid program, and lower prescription drug prices.

Rep. Correa said, "The Affordable Care Act has changed our healthcare system for the better. Countless Americans have access and protections they never had before. Today's legislation improves on the ACA by expanding access and improving affordability. Americans have never needed quality healthcare more than they do right now. I'm proud of my colleagues for standing up for countless families by ensuring healthcare is something everyone can access."
