Trump Administration Grants $22 Million to Three North Dakota Airports for Improvements

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the following grants to airports in North Dakota:

$10,000,000 to Watford City Municipal Airport to reconstruct over 6,500 feet of runway.
$10,000,000 to Hector International Airport to expand and existing cargo apron to meet Federal Aviation Administration standards.
$2,000,000 to Hillsboro Municipal Airport to construct a 2,000-foot taxiway to enhance airport efficiency.

These funds were awarded as part of the supplemental funding provided under the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018.
