"I also said that on Friday the House will consider @EleanorNorton's #DCStatehood bill. I am proud to support this bill that gives the residents of DC the rights of all other Americans. It is time to do the right thing on behalf of our fellow Americans in the District."

"Lastly, I said that John Bolton chose profits over patriotism, and cash over his responsibility as a citizen. Unlike his colleagues who demonstrated courage when they testified to the House, he shirked his duty as a citizen. That is sad for our country and our democracy."
