As a member of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs and a veteran himself, Jim is acutely aware of the challenges facing the veteran population and works every day to ensure our veterans receive the care and benefits they have earned. He sits on the Economic Opportunity subcommittee where he champions issues related to veterans' education, employment, training, housing and readjustment programs.Jim is also honored to serve as Ranking Member on the House Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Technology Modernization where he oversees the replacement of VA's archaic legacy electronic health record (EHR) with the modern and efficient commercial Cerner Millennium EHR.
