Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement commemorating the 8th anniversary of the announcement of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
"The DACA program has transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of immigrants and their families in Nevada and across our nation by allowing them to attend college, open businesses, serve in the military, and so much more," said Senator Rosen. "Dreamers are our neighbors, teachers, first responders, and health care workers. On this 8th anniversary of DACA, it is more important than ever that we renew our commitment to continue fighting for a permanent solution that includes a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers."
