Issue Position

As a nurse and a health-policy expert, I believe that all Americans should have access to high-quality, affordable health care. And the need is crystal clear: families in our district too often have to choose between paying bills and their prescriptions. Parents often worry about how they will afford their children's medications. 300,000 people in our district have pre-existing conditions and rely on the Affordable Care Act's protections, which could very well be in jeopardy.

I consider healthcare access and costs to be my number one priority.
