This week the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued new guidelines for patients and health care providers to safely resume in-person care for those with non-COVID-19 related needs.
"For months, hospitals and health care providers across Kansas have limited in-person care due to COVID-19, severely impacting both patients and providers," said Rep. Estes.
"It's critical that Kansans can safely receive needed care, preventive services and elective procedures. I will continue to work with my colleagues in Congress to ensure that hospitals have the resources they need to reopen, including access to testing, PPE, and liability reform."
