Babin Celebrates May Job Gains

U.S. Congressman Brian Babin (TX-36) issued the following statement in response to the positive job report issued for the month of May.

"Economists and media naysayers forecasted a loss of 7.5 million jobs in May -- but they were wrong," said Babin. "Instead, the country added 2.5 million jobs back to the market as the nation continues to safely reopen.

"Under the leadership of President Trump, I believe that America's economy will return as strong as before. The stock market is already on the way up. This is huge news for U.S. workers -- and much-needed positive news for all during these challenging times."
