Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) issued the following statement on H.R. 6800, House Democrats' progressive wish list masquerading as a coronavirus relief bill.

"As Americans are suffering from the health and economic ramifications of coronavirus, Democrats are focused on funding Planned Parenthood and mollifying their progressive base. This anti-work, anti-growth legislation, which has zero chance of becoming law, is a disservice to the American families trying to make it through this crisis. Today Speaker Pelosi's House of Representatives squandered valuable time debating a dead-end wish list when we could have been working on delivering constructive, realistic solutions. We cannot allow a virus to destroy the American dream. To win this war, we must lay aside political poison pills and work together. A pandemic is no time for politics."
