"I also told press that our nation needs real leadership. Instead, the President is stoking tensions. I am horrified that he threatened to put down peaceful protest with military force in his address last night and tear gassed peaceful protesters for a photo-op."

"I also said I will be working closely with @theBlackCaucus, who will be taking the lead on legislation to ensure justice, put in place accountability, and end this violence."
