Hoeven Announces Funding for Coronavirus Testing

Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), has awarded $1,000,216 to support four Community Health Centers in North Dakota. Today's funding will be used to support wide-spread testing efforts by increasing capabilities to help track the spread and impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Details are as follows:

Family Healthcare Center in Fargo -- $354,274
Coal Country Community Health Center in Beulah -- $243,184
Spectra Health in Grand Forks -- $208,669
Northland Heath Partners Community in Turtle Lake -- $194,089

"We passed this legislation to provide additional relief and support to our health care providers on the front lines," said Hoeven. "Tracking the spread of COVID-19 is a central part of ensuring we can safely open the economy, and today's funds will help us expand these efforts."
