Representative Adriano Espaillat Announces Over $21 Million Coronavirus Funding to District Health Centers

Today, Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) released the following statement on federal funding allocated to 15 health care centers in New York's 13th congressional district totaling more than $21 million dollars to provide care and assistance during the ongoing efforts to address the coronavirus.

"Health care workers, hospitals, medical centers and emergency personnel are on the front lines of our efforts to care for individuals infected with the coronavirus and efforts to combat further spread of COVID-19 throughout our communities," said Rep. Adriano Espaillat (NY-13). "Our recovery as a community will depend on the ability of these facilities to continue to provide the most adequate and necessary care for patients and ongoing treatment as needed. This funding is one part of our efforts to provide relief and support during this ongoing pandemic."

Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
