Today, the United States House of Representatives passed H.R. 266, the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act, a supplemental bill to increase funding for the Paycheck Protection Program and other purposes. The bill, which passed the United States Senate earlier this week, now heads to President Trump for signature. U.S. Representative Mike Kelly released this statement after the House vote:

The Paycheck Protection Program has already helped employers across America retain workers during the coronavirus pandemic, including many right here in western Pennsylvania. The funding increase passed today will offer a life-line to more businesses and employees in our communities while our country pivots toward responsibly reopening the economy.
