Today, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) released the following statement after testing negative for COVID-19:

"I am thankful to report that my COVID-19 test came back negative. Although I did test positive for a different respiratory infection, I am now on the mend. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support, and I know that our community joins me in sending that support to those who are fighting the COVID-19 virus now and to those who are caring for them. Consistent with the "Stay Home, Work Safe' order for Houston and Harris County, I will continue to work remotely for our district to ensure that we have the resources we need to fight the coronavirus--including testing and personal protective equipment--and to mitigate its impact in our community and across our country."
