Kustoff Applauds Over $200k in Grants to Lauderdale County Community Hospital

Today, Rep. David Kustoff (TN-08) issued the following statement regarding the announcement that $233,812 in grant funding was awarded to Lauderdale County Community Hospital. This funding is part of Governor Bill Lee's $10 million relief package to support Tennessee's small and rural hospitals.

"The coronavirus has placed a serious burden on West Tennessee's small and rural hospitals. This necessary funding will help Lauderdale County Community Hospital stay afloat while continuing to battle this current pandemic," said Rep. Kustoff. "I would like to thank Governor Bill Lee for understanding the true lifeline our rural hospitals provide for West Tennessee, and for always ensuring they are kept a top priority."
