Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) voted in favor of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act today in the House. The bill passed with bipartisan support and will now head to President Trump's desk for his signature.

"Kansas families, workers and small businesses are hurting, and they are looking for relief right now," said Rep. Estes. "The CARES Act streamlines the ability of the federal government to assist small businesses and distressed industries, gives families and unemployed workers the financial means to make it to the other side of this crisis, and ensures that job creators are positioned to keep paying their workers, and rehire those who have been laid off when we recover. Kansans, and Americans across the country, are resilient. With the administration, Congress, and local governments working together -- we will get through this together."
