President Trump has signed into law legislation to designate emergency funding to combat the spread of the coronavirus. This funding includes more than $4 billion for diagnostic tests, vaccine developments, and treatments; $2 billion for CDC response efforts; and over $1 billion for the State Department and USAID to protect Americans abroad and prevent the spread of the virus worldwide.
