Proclamation - Property and Casualty Insurance Day

WHEREAS, the property and casualty insurance industry provides much needed financial protection to North Dakota's citizens and businesses, to its policy holders directly, and indirectly, to credit grantors; and

WHEREAS, property and casualty insurance companies and agencies provide quality, highpaying jobs in communities across North Dakota and contribute millions of dollars to the state's economy in direct annual wages; and

WHEREAS, the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters is dedicated to promoting a high level of professionalism within the industry.

NOW, THEREFORE, as Governor of the State of North Dakota, I do hereby proclaim November 17, 2005, PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE DAY in the state of North Dakota.
