Today, Representative John Curtis (R-UT), released the following statement after the United States Senate voted to acquit President Trump on both articles of impeachment brought forth by the US House of Representatives:

"I am relieved that Congress can move forward, set aside this distraction of impeachment, and refocus on addressing the problems that our constituents tasked us to solve. Those who feel the President should be removed from office will have the opportunity to vote as such in November. In the meantime, I remain committed to working with my colleagues, regardless of party, to make real progress to better the lives of Utahns."
