U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar released the following statement today on the bombing in Mogadishu, Somalia:

"I am deeply saddened by the bombing in Mogadishu, and my heart goes out to the victims and their families. Minnesota is home to the largest Somali community in the country, and we mourn with those who lost loved ones today -- including many university and other students returning to class. We stand steadfast with our allies, and we must find those responsible for the attack and bring them to justice."
